Welcome to the Forum
A key goal of TESLtools is to bring teachers together
and allow the sharing of views, ideas, resources and information. All of this
is done through the Forum which consists of Boards that specialize in the following
areas:
- Shop Talk - this is the place for teachers to get together to discuss anything related to teaching or pedagogy
- Book Talk - is there a textbook that you want to recommend to others or perhaps warn them to avoid? Are you reading a book that you'd love to discuss with others? This is the place to talk about anything relating to books.
- Tech Talk - if we didn't
all use computers these days, you wouldn't be looking at this screen. This is
the place for techies and would-be techies to get together and discuss technolgical
innovations and their uses for teachers
- Culture Club - all of us who deal with language also deal with culture. If you want to discuss cultural issues, get information about other cultures or establish cultural exchanges (including pen pal partnerships for your students), this is the place for you
-
Syntactically Speaking - this is the place for teachers
to get together to discuss grammar and grammatical questions
- Rant Room - we all have our bête noires, pet peeves that drive us to distraction, and this is the place to blow off steam and rant about - and perhaps offer solutions for - those annoying things
- Does anybody know . . . ? - this is the place to ask questions that others in the TESLtools community may know the answer to or be able to help you with
These Boards are the ones currently available for discussing issues of common interest. If you would like to see additional Boards established, you can use the Forum itself to offer your suggestions.
